1.Two kinds of data
- Your account - the shop owner's and staff's name, Gmail, mobile number and billing details. kmarto decides how this is used, to run your account.
- Your shop's records - your products, orders, customers, vehicles, payments and the rest. Your business decides how these are used; kmarto stores and processes them only on your behalf, to run the app for you. Your customers' questions about their details are best answered by your shop - we'll help you do that.
2.What we collect
- When you sign up and sign in: your name, Gmail address and mobile number, your shop's name, address and GSTIN, and each sign-in's time and device type (for your sign-in log).
- What you put into kmarto: everything you enter or upload - products, prices, photos, bills, payments, expenses, stock.
- From your booking page: details your customers give your shop when they order or book - name, mobile number, address, what they ordered.
- When you contact us: what you write, and your contact details.
- Basic technical data: server logs (time, address, browser) kept for security. kmarto has no advertising or tracking cookies; your browser stores only what's needed to keep you signed in and remember your settings.
3.Why we use it
- to run kmarto for you: your admin, invoices, reports and booking page;
- to sign you in and keep your shop secure;
- to bill your Premium plan and send you notices about your account (trial ending, a deletion you asked for);
- to answer you when you ask for help - looking inside your shop only when you switch on support access;
- to keep kmarto working well, using usage counts (for example how many products a shop has), not your business's contents.
We never sell personal data, never use it for advertising, and never use your customers' details to contact them ourselves.
4.Where it is kept, and who helps us
Your shop's records are stored in Google Cloud in Mumbai, India. A few trusted providers help us run kmarto, each only for its job:
- Google Cloud and Firebase - database (Mumbai), app servers (Singapore), and sign-in with Google and mobile OTP.
- Cloudinary - storing and showing the photos you upload.
- Our email provider - delivering support messages and account emails.
Data is encrypted when stored and in transit. The full, current list is on Your data. We share data with others only if the law requires it - and we'll tell you unless we're not allowed to.
5.How long we keep it
- Your shop's records: for as long as your shop exists - including after a trial or plan ends, so you never lose them.
- When you delete your shop: everything is erased 7 days later (you can cancel until then).
- Records of your kmarto subscription payments: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Support messages: as long as needed to help you, then deleted on request.
6.Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to explain how we use it. Most of this you can do yourself: download or delete your shop in Admin settings → Your data, and change your details in your admin.
For anything else, or a complaint, write to our grievance contact at support@kmarto.com - we reply within 7 days. If you're not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
7.Children
kmarto is for businesses and isn't meant for anyone under 18.
8.Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll update this page and tell you in the app or by email. See also our Terms of service.
